Elegant and rare Christofle France letter opener, belonging to the iconic series “Coll. Gallia — Napoleon Empereur”, manufactured in the 1970s.
The circular handle features a raised portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte as Emperor, crowned with laurel, with the inscription “NAPOLEON EMPEREUR” around the edge. On the reverse there are an imperial bee and a laurel crown — emblems of the Napoleonic Empire. The blade is polished silver-plated metal with an elegant conical shape.
Marked on the reverse: CHRISTOFLE FRANCE with a quality hallmark.
