Description from the seller

A triumph of splendor and exquisite goldsmithing mastery, destined to dominate, with absolute elegance, the most prestigious tabletops. This imposing and rare antique centerpiece, forged in heavy solid silver, represents a highly charming investment for luxury silver collectors and for lovers of antique craftsmanship.
Subject and Style: The design unfolds in a sumptuous boat-shaped form (or jardinière), pure expression of the richest and most scenographic Rococo style. The entire surface is skillfully worked in repoussé and deep chasing, creating a dense interweaving of lush floral motifs, scrolls, and delicate central cherubic faces, all framed by two imposing handles with richly decorated twisted scrolls.
Material and Finish: The piece is entirely made of solid silver 800 (800 fineness), as unmistakably certified by the “800” hallmark enclosed in a lozenge on the bottom. Of exceptional value and refinement is the magnificent internal gilding (vermeil technique), which yields a superb and regal contrast with the external shine of the metal. The absolute importance and solidity of the piece are confirmed by its exceptional weight of 1.540 kg.
Technical Details and Conditions:
• Type: Large centerpiece / boat-shaped jardinière.
• Style: Rococo.
• Materials: Solid silver 800, interior gilded finish (Vermeil).
• Era: Early 20th Century.
• Weight: 1.540 kg (1540 grams).
• Dimensions: Maximum width (from handle to handle) 53 cm. Depth 20 cm. Height 21 cm.
• Condition: Generally excellent conservation. The precious silver structure is solid, majestic and completely free of dents. The deep repoussé work is perfectly sharp and defined. The precious internal gilding is beautifully preserved, bearing only the slight, normal, and fascinating signs of time that attest to its historical authenticity.

We note that in the photographic service, any white areas are due to reflections from artificial lights of the dedicated spotlights used to illuminate the item, which could cause a light color variation in the photograph.
The item is Original, carefully photographed reporting every detail, highlighting its qualities, merits and defects, if any.
It is sold “as is,” with the accuracy of the description and photographs.
Shipping is carried out with professional, well-protected packaging, with insured shipments.
