Set of 2 small salvers / ring holders – 833 silver – 19th/20th century
Description:
Set consisting of two small salvers / ring holders in 833 silver, dating from the 19th century, with rich relief decoration in Rococo and floral motifs.
The larger piece features a notched edge and is richly decorated with scrolls, shells and floral elements, typical of 19th-century ornamental aesthetics, surrounding a smooth polished center. The smaller piece has a wavy edge with floral decoration and raised scrolls, creating a harmonious and elegant ensemble.
This type of small silver pieces was often used as table salvers, ring holders, jewelry boxes, or containers for small objects.
