Serving dish / Entrée dish, Old Sheffield Plate, original method of mechanically fusing silver onto copper. Dated circa 1820. Typically English design with a corded edge. The crest depicts a rampant lion with an arrow and the inscription "LIBERTAS" associated with the Birch family. The stopper for the inner chamber is stuck.
