A true classic of Italian design, awarded the Compasso d’Oro in 1979 and today exhibited in numerous design museums around the world. The Strips system revolutionized the concept of upholstered furniture thanks to its fully detachable quilted cover, inspired by a sleeping bag: practical, washable and easily replaceable. The frame is metal and poplar plywood, with polyurethane foam padding of differentiated density that guarantees comfort and durability over time. This piece has been completely reupholstered with a high-quality, luxurious red velvet, a deep and vibrant red that gives the sofa a strong, contemporary and scenographic character.
