Maurizio Galimberti signed first edition Paris, a hardcover 280-page color photography book published by Silvana Editoriale in 2016, with content in Italian, English and French.
Description from the seller
Exceptional copy unusually signed on the half-title page by Maurizio Galimberti, unique and unfound on the internet in a signed edition. 280 pages and about 300 color photographs, also including serial images, introduction in English, French and Italian. Black cloth-bound cover illustrated on the front.
The works presented in this book are the result of 20 years of photographic research by Maurizio Galimberti in Paris. Maurizio Galimberti was born in 1956 in the north of Italy and he lived in Milan. He began his photography career in 1974 with a Widelux camera with a rotating lens and then converted to Polaroid photography in 1983. An engineer from Polaroid even entrusted him with an accessory enabling image duplication. Maurizio Galimberti assembles serial images by multiplying shots and viewpoints to compose mosaics that then constitute an image by virtue of their very assembly, as here with images of the Eiffel Tower; he photographs landscapes, architectures and cities and alternates small-format image mosaics with large-format images, using blur and camera movement in an impressionistic way.
Book from my personal collection, in excellent condition (like new), kept with the greatest care. Very efficiently protected shipping and guaranteed international tracking. In case of multiple purchases, possibility of grouped shipping with refund of overpaid postage via PayPal.
