A substantial vertical rectangular mirror, set in a carved and moulded wooden frame. The frame features rich ornamentation inspired by the Louis XVI repertoire: fluted or gadrooned uprights, framed by beaded moldings, and corner blocks adorned with stylized rosettes.

The open-work pediment, particularly decorative, consists of a flowering basket or basket surrounded by garlands and finely sculpted floral drops, bearing witness to meticulous decorative work in the neoclassical spirit of the late 19th century.

The current finish reveals the wood with a warm patina.

Important miroir de forme rectangulaire verticale, dans un encadrement en bois sculpté et mouluré. Le cadre présente une riche ornementation inspirée du répertoire Louis XVI : montants à cannelures simulées ou godronnées, encadrés de baguettes perlées, et dés d’angle ornés de rosaces stylisées.

Le fronton ajouré, particulièrement décoratif, est constitué d’un panier fleuri ou corbeille entourée de guirlandes et chutes de fleurs finement sculptées, témoignant d’un travail décoratif soigné dans l’esprit néo-classique de la fin du XIXe siècle.

La finition actuelle laisse apparaître le bois avec une patine chaude.
