Rosewood veneer box for storing cutlery and probably mainly knives and/or forks. The whole piece has brass inlay and an engraved letter A on the lid. Napoleon III period.

Maximum length for the cutlery: about 19.3 cm.

In good condition. Small damage and restorations overall. No key present and the lid is a bit tight against the fabric edge of the box. See also the photos that form part of the description.

Palissander gefineerde kist voor het bewaren van bestek en waarschijnlijk voornamelijk messen en/of vorken. Het geheel met messing inleg en een gegraveerde letter A op het deksel. Napoleon III période. 

Maximale lengte voor het bestek: circa 19,3 cm.  

In goede staat. Kleine beschadigingen en restauraties over het geheel. Geen sleutel aanwezig en het deksel klemt een beetje om de stoffen rand van de kist. Zie ook de foto’s die deel uitmaken van de omschrijving.
