Two pieces of old, locally used food containers, mostly for milk or water. In beautiful, well-used patinated condition, both about 39 centimeters tall. Origin Kenya/Tanzania/Ethiopia.
One piece made from a calabash wrapped with leather straps (Masai Tanzania).
One piece entirely made of hardened animal hide or camel bladder, with a wooden stopper. Origin Rendille people of northern Kenya or Dassanetch people of southern Ethiopia.

Twee stuks oude, lokaal gebruikte  voedselcontainers, meestal voor melk of water. In prachtige oude gebruikte gepatineerde staat, beide ongeveer 39 centimeter hoog. Herkomst Kenia/Tanzania/Ethiopië.
Een exemplaar gemaakt van Kalebas met leren riemen omwikkeld (Masai Tanzania).
Een exemplaar volledig van hard geworden dierenhuid of Kamelenblaas, met houten stop. herkomst Rendille volk Noord Kenya of Dassanetch volk Zuid Ethiopië.
