This is an antique Flip-top gaming table in the Louis XV style, crafted in premium walnut with boxwood inlay. The table top features a distinctive wavy shape. At the center of the top is a superb wood inlay floral motif.
This table could be used as a gaming table or as a small decorative table from the 19th century. Table top: it has a curved shape (often described as “biscuit” or “turtle” style) with delicate inlaid edges running along the sides. The top consists of two overlapping layers and could open like a book. The upper surface rotates 90 degrees and unfolds, doubling its surface area and revealing a green felt interior for gaming.
