Natural emerald crystals in a matrix, mounted on a wooden display base, from Minas Gerais, Brazil; weight 575 g, dimensions 8.98 cm high, 8.32 cm wide and 6.32 cm deep.
Description from the seller
Natural emerald crystal specimen in matrix, featuring several clearly visible prismatic crystals integrated into a matrix rich in quartz and dark micaceous minerals. The crystals display a light green to green-blue coloration typical of Brazilian emeralds, with compact prismatic habit and growth in partially exposed aggregates.
The specimen's structure reveals solid crystal growth with natural surfaces preserved, showing an interesting contrast between the greenish beryl crystals and the surrounding dark matrix. Some crystal faces show silky reflections and natural cleavage planes visible, reinforcing the mineral authenticity of the piece.
The matrix contains zones of milky quartz and dark biotite, features common in hydrothermal emerald deposits of Minas Gerais. The specimen is mounted on a wooden display base.
Expressive and representative piece for a mineral collection, display case, or decor with authentic geological character.
