Description from the seller
This is a Big Ben from the manufacturer westclox USA. I have been a watch collector for over 50 years. All functions of the watch work perfectly. However, it is an antique item and there is no warranty. The watch case has a lot of marks on the nickel plating. The cover on the back of the watch has even more marks, but you can clearly see the manufacturer's patent numbers.
However, this does not affect the sound or operation of the watch at all. The words "repeat", "steady silence" and "alarm" have worn away over the last hundred years. Also, the dial has some wear from time to time but remains sharp and shiny. This antique Westclox Large Big Ben Wind-Up Alarm Clock from the 1910s is a stunning piece with a round, silver metal design that exudes vintage charm. The clock features a mechanical movement and features the original winders and time and alarm controls for easy operation. This original piece is a true collector's item and decorative piece, perfect for any room and highlights the era of early 20th century craftsmanship. Made in the United States, this alarm clock is a timeless treasure that adds a touch of history and elegance to any space.
