The offer includes an original 1950s kitchen/office wall clock in the typical color tone of that decade.
The case has a beautiful unique design in light beige (egg-shell color), with a rounded edge.
The Bakelite case shows hardly any signs of use. The clock has been converted to "battery operation". The dial is made of cardboard, with the AEG logo and the large and small minute and hour marks embossed/printed on it.
The hands are made of black plastic, the red second hand, which shows each second without actually counting, turns quietly in its rounds.
The numerals 3, 6, 9 and 12 on the case are raised and painted in black.
The clock is essentially silent. You can only hear its operation if you put your ear to the case.

The dial is protected by a framed, outwardly curved glass that cannot be opened—the only way is to remove the screws from the back for the supports and dial.

The clock, despite its age of over 70 years, is in remarkably good condition and naturally may show light wear appropriate to age!
Otherwise the Bakelite is crack-free—only the recesses for the former power cord remain. It was previously designed for 220 volts and 50 Hz. It now operates with a simple AA battery.
Dimensions: approx. 23.5 x 23.5 cm
Depth without the curved glass or the short-time alarm knob is about 3 cm; with glass etc. about 6 cm.
Weight without battery: approx. 750 g

It has been tested with a battery and is in working condition.
The battery is not included in the delivery.
