Description from the seller
Three very decorative (and functional) vintage stools. There are 1 milk stool and 2 stools with four legs. The stool with the square top weighs just over 1.7 kg, the height is 32 cm, the width is 24.5 cm and the depth 16 cm. The stool with the round seat and four legs is 32 cm high and the top has a diameter of 26.5 cm. The stool weighs just over 2 kg. The milk stool weighs just over 1 kg; it is 29 cm high and has a top with a diameter of 22 cm.
Because of the shape we call this last type of stools milk stools. The three legs give it stability, and due to the low height, this type of stool gave the farmer the right seating height to milk a cow. Whether this stool was actually ever used as a milking stool is doubtful.
The three stools are still 100% stable. They show some logical signs of use here and there, but still look very good. The stools were once made of light wood and were white-painted by a previous owner. This was done very neatly.
The stools can still be used as stools, but they are also a very beautiful piece of furniture in themselves. They can also be used as plant stands or pedestal stands (see photos); very nice!
The stools are carefully packed and insured for shipment.
