A piece of Mercedes-Benz history. Official/genuine factory drawing of the 300 SL. This is the official document announcing the model's market release in 1954. The first units wouldn’t begin delivering to customers until 1955.
The Mercedes 300 SL "GullWing" is an automotive icon of the 1950s. It is considered the first supercar in history, notable for its revolutionary vertically opening doors, a technical necessity derived from its tubular chassis. Its inline-six engine with direct injection made it a benchmark of technology and performance of the era. Presented in 1954, this competition-derived model is a symbol of innovation, luxury and timeless design.
It comes with a black wooden frame and acrylic glass. Very well wrapped and protected for safe transport until you have it in your hands. The exterior dimensions are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm in depth.
