Thorens TD 104 MK II - Made in Germany - Collector's Conditions - ADC QLM 30 MK III Cartridge
Description of the Lot
In the auction an exceptional Thorens TD 104 MK II, a classic of high fidelity produced in Germany. This specimen stands out for an extremely rare level of preservation, ideal for those seeking an authentic object and never tampered with.
Details of Authenticity and Technical Condition:
Original Preserved: The plinth still bears the original factory label with the transport instructions (in three languages), a detail that testifies to the manic care and historical integrity of this piece.
Original RCA Cables: The turntable mounts its factory original cables. As typical of many vintage components, they may show slight sensitivity to contact (solvable with a deoxidizing spray), but they have been kept to avoid altering the collectible value.
Safe Power: Supplied with a new modern compatible power supply to ensure stable voltages and superior electrical safety compared to old vintage transformers.
Cartridge and Stylus: Equipped with ADC QLM 30 MK III cartridge. The stylus is in excellent condition, ready to reproduce your vinyl with a warm and faithful sound.
Electronic Controls: Touch-sensitive buttons perfectly responsive and functioning red status LEDs. Fine speed adjustment via the integrated mirror-strobe.
Aesthetics and Mechanics:
Dust Cover: Original, exceptionally shiny and transparent, without scratches or cracks.
Mechanical: Aluminum platter and inner platter extremely clean, free of oxidation. Belt intact and speed stable.
Professional Shipping (Crated):
The packaging will strictly follow the era's instructions: counterweight of the tonearm removed, platter removed and protected separately, tonearm locked. I will use anti-shock specific materials to ensure the turntable arrives at destination exactly as you see in the photo.
