Description from the seller

Nice lot consisting of 8 diverse tools made from the local flint of Spiennes and surroundings. Typical for the Middle Neolithic Michelsberg culture. In this lot there is a percussion hammer (percuteur), a rare burin (steker), fragment of a polished axe, two scrapers, a knife and a semi-finished artifact. Some were mounted in wooden tools. The site of Spiennes near Mons is world-famous for its large number of silex mines and is one of the largest exploitation of this product in Europe. The modern local museum is definitely worth a visit.
