Large Neolithic point made from fine quartzite. This point was made using the Levallois technique. A revolutionary technique where a core block was carefully prepared and from which a perfect flake (with a typical triangular shape) could be struck. The core (nucleus) was not used further. Originating from Tagmout in S. Morocco.
