Splendid Venetian carved walnut bench, the carved details are spectacular; the back panels show intricate floral relief scenes. At the top there is a lion, the symbol of Venice, and naturally all the other details are highly worked and distinctive.
The bench opens to reveal a generous storage space in the chest, a great piece suitable for an entryway or a living room.

In overall good condition, signs of wear from the passage of time attest to its age, which, however, do not impair the beauty, form, and integrity of this unique piece.
