Rare Heico Disney Collector’s Lamp – PLUTO – Licensed German Design – 1970s/80s

This auction presents a remarkably well-preserved example of a vintage Disney Pluto nightlight, produced by the esteemed German manufacturer Heico (Heinze & Co.). Known among collectors for their high-quality "Traumleuchten" (Dream Lamps), Heico’s collaboration with Disney in the late 20th century resulted in some of the most sought-after character lamps in the European market.

This specific model, cataloged as Art. 63.574, is an authentic piece of mid-century Disneyana. Unlike modern thin-gauge plastic alternatives, this lamp is constructed from a thick, specialty PVC that was hand-painted and designed to withstand the heat of a light source while emitting a characteristic warm, ambient glow. The design language reflects the "Golden Era" of Pluto’s character design, featuring his iconic inquisitive expression, outstretched tongue, and vibrant green collar. The ears are made of a slightly softer, black plastic.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The colors remain vibrant with minimal age-related wear. The plastic is intact with no cracks.
