Saba - Freudenstadt Stereo E Mod FD-E Tube radio

I am pleased to present this auction featuring a vintage SABA Freudenstadt Stereo E tube radio/amplifier accompanied by a pair of Saba Lautsprecherbox 15 speakers. Both units were manufactured in Germany during the 1960s.

SABA Freudenstadt Stereo E Amplifier/Receiver:
Exterior Condition: The unit is in good cosmetic condition for its age (approximately 60 years), showing normal signs of use with no cracks or external damage.
Operational Status:
The device is fully functional, operating both as a radio and an amplifier.
Please note the following technical details:

Power Supply Restoration: The main power supply circuit has been completely refurbished. All original electrolytic capacitors and vintage components from the 1960s have been replaced with high-quality, authentic modern parts to ensure the amplifier maintains its precise operating voltages (please refer to the photos comparing the old and new components).

Power Switch: The original power switch has been bypassed; consequently, the amplifier powers on immediately when plugged into a mains outlet. An external inline switch can be added to the power cord at any time for more convenient operation.

Tubes (Valves): All internal vacuum tubes are present and original. Detailed photos of the tube complement are provided for verification.

Model: This set includes a pair of Saba Lautsprecherbox 15 speakers. This model is internationally renowned and highly sought after by audiophiles for its warm, natural sound profile, specifically engineered to complement SABA tube-based systems. They are often associated with the famous "Greencone" drivers, though I cannot formally confirm the specific nomenclature.

Exterior Condition: The cabinets are in fair condition, showing clear signs of use and some minor paint splatters in certain areas. Overall, the cosmetic state is relatively acceptable for vintage equipment.
Internal Condition: I have removed the grilles to document the drivers; as shown in the photos, they are in excellent condition.
