Stool - Art Deco / Biedermeier-style piano stool. - Wood, Copper

This three-legged round table with a green felt top and black-and-gold edged wood is a classic example of Art Deco / Biedermeier-style furniture from Germany, circa 1920–1940.

Probably handmade in Bavaria with turned wood and felt upholstery typical of Jugendstil interiors. The patina and construction indicate an original item from well-off households or adjustable for a piano.

The stool can be up to 63 cm high. The lowest height is adjustable to 48 cm. Diameter 36 cm.

Fully functional with authentic signs of use (there are small cracks, scratches, and wear marks), the side seating surface shows cutting damage from use during lessons. See photos for clarification.
