Description from the seller
GERMANY. Nuremberg-Fürth. 20 Pfennig. 1920.
- Value: 20 Pfennig.
- Year: 1920.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: urban architectural view with buildings and a central tower, surrounded by the upper legend corresponding to the issuing city. Reverse: NÜRNBERG-FÜRTHER STRASSENBAHN · 20 PFENNIG, with the denomination centered inside a beaded circle.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).
Emergency Notgeld minted in aluminum during the postwar German period, of a characteristic polygonal shape, with a detailed depiction of an urban ensemble on the obverse, executed in a sober and functional style. The reverse presents a clear and symmetric composition centered on the face value, with robust and well-defined typography. Instance with full relief, clean fields and original satin luster, showing minimal surface marks typical of the issue and fully coherent with its grade of preservation. Coin representative of the local German monetary system in the inflationary context of the early Weimar Republic.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
