These are Jazz model table lamps, designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche for PAF Milano in 1989. The innovative design allows the central body to slide along tracks to extend to three different lengths. These lamps are known for having been used in the film Star Trek VI. They won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro design award in 1991. They are made of plastic, in charcoal gray. The condition of both lamps is like new. One of them has a slight difficulty in sliding (always kept closed).
