Pioneer - SX-590 Solid state stereo receiver

The Pioneer SX-590 is an AM/FM stereo receiver with output power that uses hybrid integrated circuits, Pioneer’s exclusive tuning integrated circuits, and a dual-gate MOS-FET FM front end. The function selector is protected by a muting circuit, as in the more expensive Pioneer models, to suppress turn-on/off and switching noise. Other features include direct-reading power meters, a tuning indicator, and an MPX PLL with automatic pilot signal cancellation. Tuning range: FM, MW; Output power: 20 watts per channel into 8 Ω.
