Specimen of native copper in the form of a solid copper sphere, 50 mm in diameter and weighing 600 g, from Michigan, United States; scientific name Cu.
Description from the seller
Copper is one of the few metals present in nature in its native state, not bound to other elements.
This sphere is made from pure natural copper, mined from selected mines in the Western United States, one of the most iconic copper‑mining regions since the nineteenth century. The appearance is the unmistakable look of solid copper: a warm metallic surface, with hues ranging from orange‑red to golden brown, crossed by natural micro‑ripples that reveal its artisanal work.
Each sphere is carved from a solid block and polished to maintain the metal’s natural shine, while leaving visible the tiny imperfections typical of handmade work.
Copper has always been considered a sacred metal:
- Associated with Venus, love and harmony,
- It stimulates energy flow, aiding the connection between body and spirit,
- It is said to absorb negativity, acting as a shield for the aura,
- Used to balance the chakras, particularly the second (sacral) and the fourth (heart).
In tradition, copper was used to build ritual tools, amulets, cups for water, and protective objects. It is still today employed in grounding practices and for contact with Earth’s energy.
Copper is an excellent conductor of energy, both electrical and symbolic, and is also used in the construction of therapeutic pyramids and radionics circuits.
Its color gradually changes over time: in humid environments it can develop a natural greenish patina (copper oxide or “verdigris”), but it can be polished to shine as if newly forged.
This sphere can be used as: a collectible or meditation object, part of a collection of pure metals, or even as a stress‑relief tool: holding a copper sphere in the palm stimulates the palm and meridians.
Origin: Selected mines, Western United States
Composition: Natural copper
Diameter: 50 mm
Weight: 600 g
