Ritual mask as described in Julien Volper's 2014 book; teeth have been restored.

Name of the mask: Mukinka, Salampasu; each member of the association had multiple masks (See Elisabeth Cameron 1984).

Several were exhibited at the Museum of Central Africa in Tervuren.

The first photographs were taken in the 1950s, Maes et al. were offered for sale on-site up to the 1980s, after which many poor copies were put on the market.
