This is a precision nautical sextant model "Hezzanith", produced by the renowned Heath & Co. of London. The instrument, kept in its original wooden case lined with green felt, features a black metal finish with a brass graduated scale and includes its original accessories, such as the telescope and the adjustment key. The examination certificate stuck inside the lid identifies the specimen with serial number 62088 and bears the date March 21, 1962, attesting to its technical accuracy and the build quality typical of British scientific instruments of the era.
