Description from the seller
Rare tray / serving plate / serving tray for the Ruppelwerke (Ruppel) Gotha.
Reduced construction made of orange metal with an ornamental, pierced edge. Marked on the back with the stamp brand "Ruppel".

For the Ruppel works, Marianne Brandt designed many everyday objects. In the metal workshop she worked as a designer and is counted among the less well-known female Bauhaus artists.
