- Inscriptions: Obverse: portrait of Sun Yat-sen looking left, with a legend in Chinese characters 中華民國 arranged in an arc on the top and the engraver’s signature L. Giorgi next to the bust. Reverse: laurel wreath crown tied at the top, with the characters 國章 arranged vertically in the center.

Modern copper-gilt medal with a deep proof-like contrast finish, corresponding to the LM-73 design in its obverse variant. The obverse presents a classic portrait of Sun Yat-sen, in a Western academic style, with precise modelling of facial features, beard and uniform, highlighting a strong contrast between the gilded reliefs and the mirrored black fields. The reverse shows a sober and balanced symbolic composition, with a finely detailed laurel crown framing the central characters, highlighted by crisp reliefs and excellent definition. An exceptionally high-quality specimen, with immaculate surfaces, deep mirror fields and fully frosted reliefs, defect-free, representative of the maximum level of preservation.
