Description from the seller

Large natural amber 22.22 g – collectible specimen with distinctive internal structure

Description.
Object: Natural fossil resin (amber, probably Baltic / possible Copal)
Weight: 22.22 g
Size: approx. 5–6 cm
Color: Cognac to honey-colored with milky inclusions
Transparency: Semitransparent – see images.
Condition: Naturally preserved, partly smoothed
Description:
This appealing piece of fossil resin is characterized by a warm, intense cognac-honey color and natural, organic structures. In transmitted light, the amber shows a particularly attractive light effect with vivid color play and visible internal flow lines.
The existing milky inclusions (“cloudy inclusions”) emphasize the natural origin and give the object an individual, non-reproducible appearance.
Due to its size and aesthetic properties, the piece is suitable as a collector’s item as well as for further processing in jewelry or craft applications. Authenticity features
Floatable in saltwater
Low specific gravity
Resinous, pine-like scent
Visible natural structures and inclusions

Material note:
Based on visual assessment and simple tests, this is natural amber (succinite).
Since no laboratory analysis has been performed, the piece is offered tentatively as:
“Amber / fossil resin (possibly Copal)”

Classification
Decorative natural piece of average to good quality with characteristic coloration and authentic structure. Particularly interesting for collectors of natural materials or as raw material for individual jewelry pieces.
Shipping
Carefully packaged shipping with tracking. Personal handover by arrangement possible.
