Elegant hand-painted commemorative plaque from Makkum, produced to mark 25 years of Oranje-Groene Kruis (1938–1963). This special plaque combines traditional Delft Blue with a striking polychrome cross in orange and green, giving it a powerful and symbolic appearance.
The central motif is framed by a richly decorated border with classic floral ornaments in deep cobalt blue. The subtle gold-colored edge finish gives the plaque an elegant and refined look.

Diameter: 23.6 cm
Dating: 1963 (commemorative issue)
Decoration: hand-painted in blue with orange/green cross

Condition
In good, very neat condition. No chips, cracks or restorations.
On the back are clear traces of the pegs (supports) used during the firing process – an authentic feature that belongs to traditionally produced earthenware.
