It is a reportage of the struggle against the construction of Narita International Airport, known as the “Sanrizuka (Narita) Struggle,” captured from the perspective of the local farmers. A masterpiece of “protest” work collection that realistically depicts the heated clashes between the residents and the state. Editing and composition by Kiyoshi Awazu and profound gravure printing are also excellent. With obi. (Included in The Japanese Photobook 1912-1990)
