This amethyst druse shows an openly formed crystal cave with densely spaced, clearly contoured tips in varying violet hues – from delicate lilac to deep purple. The crystals grow evenly into the interior, creating a lively play of light, gloss and transparency. Individual surfaces reflect light particularly strongly and give the druse a striking depth.
The outer edge forms a natural transition from the compact host rock to the sparkling crystal zone. Subtle banding and color gradations along the cut edge emphasize the natural structure and make the formation process easy to understand. The resting surface is cleanly finished so the druse can be presented stably and its open crystal side can be shown to best effect.
