Olympus OM-2n MD Analogue camera

Beautiful but currently not functioning Olympus OM-2n MD body.
Serial number: 1147589

I am offering this beautiful camera body for repair or as spare parts/components.
One day the camera worked perfectly; a few days later there was a problem.
I think this camera can be brought back to good working condition by someone with knowledge.

The film advance lever does not work as it should. When advancing the lever it spins loosely and does not wind the film spool.
When I open the film door and manually turn the black plastic/bakelite shaft with two toothed rings (as you would wind the film) and turn it until it stops, I can operate the camera perfectly.
All shutter speeds in M (manual) work perfectly. Also in AUTO (automatic) all speeds work according to the lens diaphragm setting.
I think the internal problem lies with some little hook that does not engage the take-up spool to wind the film properly.

So in other words... I offer this camera for repair or, if desired, for parts.

There are minimal signs of use visible; see the photos, these are also part of the description.

Therefore, due to the known drawback, I am selling this Olympus OM-2n MD body AS IS. In the condition as it is and known to the buyer. I therefore do not accept returns.

I bought this camera together with a few other cameras from the family of a deceased person who knew me as a collector. Since I am not a repairer, I am selling this camera to recover part of my purchase costs.
