Bronze French rocaille mantel clock with a mechanical eight-day movement and half-hour striking on a bell, 40 cm high, 12 cm wide and 10 cm deep, in good condition with minor signs of aging, currently not in working order and not tested for lack of a key.
Description from the seller
Design: Presents typical elements of "rocaille", with volutes, shells and symmetrical foliage patterns. The top finial (crest) is particularly detailed.
Dial: The dial is white enamel with Arabic numerals, protected by a glass cover. The two winding-hole openings indicate that the clock has a chiming mechanism (chimes the hours and halves).
Mechanism: Clocks of this type typically use the so-called "Paris movement". Brands such as Japy Frères or Lenzkirch are common references for this style of piece
Not tested due to missing key
Dimensions approx 40*10*21 cm
