Beautifully decorative piece of ancient Roman glass, ca. 1 - 399 AD
Iridescent glass vessel with strong form and unusually smaller opening - likely designed & used to hold a particularly valuable precious oil.
Intact, with green tones with strong areas of iridescence as shown in the images.
The glass vessel is an ex-gallery piece and a striking display item.
90 x 40mm, 80gr.
