Issue corresponding to the French colonial period of the Comoros archipelago, with a design coherent with the rest of the 1964 series but in a higher denomination. The obverse shows the allegory of the French Republic, left profile, with excellent definition in the hair, the winged headdress, and facial features, while the reverse presents a detailed tropical scene with palm trees, native plants, and the prominent central value. The specimen retains an intense, uniform original luster, with clean fields and sharp reliefs, supporting its attractive MS66 grade and making it a particularly representative and visually striking piece within modern French-influenced African numismatics.
