Monumental antique carved wooden easel - 19th/20th century
Prestigious display easel in solid wood, finely hand-carved with scrollwork, shells and foliate motifs. An antique piece of great elegance, perfect for highlighting artists' paintings, mirrors, or to be used as a unique decorative element in a formal drawing room.
The structure is a tripod with shaped uprights. The upper crest is richly carved with a fretwork motif, while the supports for the artwork are height-adjustable via the original pegs.
