PERKEN SON & RAYMENT MAHOGANY QUARTER PLATE CAMERA

Produced between 1887 and 1899. Founded in 1852 under the name Lejeune & Perken, renowned for camera production, it became Perken, Son & Rayment in 1887 and from 1899 Perken Son & Co., based at 99 Hatton Gardens, London.

Objective: "Perken, Son & Rayment Hatton Garden London Rapid Rectilinear 5x4 Optimus"
Shutter: "Time and Instantaneous" roller blind shutter, made by Thornton Pickard.
Quarter plate holder (3) Thornton-Pickard Originals.

The wooden parts (mahogany) are in very good condition.
The leather bellows are light-tight.
Brass components complete, functional and in good condition.
The lens is in good condition, the shutter cocks and fires perfectly even with the pneumatic system.
And the mahogany plate holders are also in good condition,
Leather lens board and case for the antique camera and in good condition
