Description from the seller

An 18th-century Meissen porcelain plate, measuring approximately 24 cm in diameter. The plate features a delicately scalloped rim highlighted with a gilt edge. The surface is finely decorated with hand-painted insects—such as butterflies, beetles, and flies—scattered among applied, three-dimensional enamel flowers in vibrant colors. At the center, a detailed butterfly motif is enclosed within a gilt circular band.
Marked with 6.
Condition: There is a small chip to the rim of the plate and minor damage (chip) to one of the applied leaves. Otherwise, the decoration remains vivid and well preserved.
