Description from the seller
AUSTRIA. 100 Schilling. 1979.
- Value: 100 Schilling.
- Year: 1979.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH · 100 SCHILLING. Reverse: 200 JAHRE INNVIERTEL BEI ÖSTERREICH · 1979.
- Grade: Proof.
Commemorative coin dedicated to the bicentennial of the Innviertel’s incorporation into Austria, depicted on the reverse by a set of traditional rural buildings in Alpine style, with sloped roofs and an orderly architectural composition arranged in perspective. The obverse features the stylized Austrian federal eagle, holding the symbols of sovereignty, with the face value highlighted at the bottom. The specimen shows a proof finish with mirror fields and well-defined matte reliefs, though with slight marks and micro-scratches in the dark fields that do not significantly affect the overall appeal, preserving good contrast and visual presence.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
