Offered for auction is an exceptional 30-piece cutlery set from the prestigious French silversmith Christofle, Paris. This set features the timeless Chinon pattern, a hallmark of Louis XV style characterized by its elegant "Filet" border and distinctive heart-shaped terminal at the base of the handle.

This is a true "time capsule" find: Purchased in 1981, the set has remained entirely unused and stored in a cabinet for over 45 years.

Condition & Provenance:
History: Single ownership since 1981.

Condition: Absolutely unused (New Old Stock). There are no micro-scratches, no signs of polishing wear, and no traces of dishwasher use.

Patina: The pieces exhibit a deep, natural storage patina (oxidation/tarnish). This tarnish is the best evidence of its untouched state since the 1980s. Beneath this layer, the silver plating remains in mint, factory-fresh condition and can be easily restored to a high mirror shine with a soft silver cloth.

Material: High-grade Christofle silver plating (Métal Allié Blanc).

Hallmarks: Each piece is fully hallmarked with the "OC" scales mark and the "Christofle" name.
