Petri FT + 2,8/35mm SLR, a fully mechanical 1967 Petri Camera Company camera with breech‑lock mount and a Petri 35 mm f/2.8 lens, tested and working, sold as‑is and without batteries.
Description from the seller
As I am winding down my collection, a well-preserved fully mechanical and manual Petri FT 35mm SLR camera, with a 35 mm lens and the original lens cap. Produced in 1967 by the Japanese Petri Camera Company and intended for the serious amateur photographer. The camera features fully mechanical operation and interchangeable lenses with the characteristic Petri breech-lock mount. What’s distinctive about the camera is that you focus with the aperture wide open, then you press a lever to close the aperture for metering. Then you manually set the correct exposure. This makes the camera less “automatic” than later models, but rather appealing to enthusiasts of classical photography.
Lichtmeting: stop-down, meter reads out; not tested for accuracy.
Shutter: slit shutter.
Shutter speeds: B, 1 - 1/1000. All speeds operational, but not tested for accuracy.
Lens mount: proprietary breech-lock bayonet mount.
Lens: EE Auto CC Petri 35 mm f/2.8. Lens clear and free of haze, fungus and separation.
A nice and fully functional camera with signs of use (two small dents).
Sold without batteries and as-is. Photos are part of the description.
