CHINA. 5 Cents. Year 29 (1940).
- Value: 5 Cents.
- Year: 1940 (Year 29).
- Inscriptions: Obverse: 十九年國民政府 (Year 29 of the Republic) around and 伍分 in the center. Reverse: 5 within a stylized geometric design.
- Grade: MS63 (NGC).
5 Cents coin minted during the Republic of China period, corresponding to year 29 (1940). The obverse presents the value 伍分 in Chinese characters with bold strokes and pronounced relief, surrounded by the republican legend arranged in an arc. The reverse shows the numeral 5 integrated into a central geometric motif of modern style, framed by a continuous perimeter meander clearly inspired by classical design. The specimen retains good detail in the reliefs, with satin luster still visible in protected areas and fields showing slight surface marks typical of its MS63 grade, maintaining a balanced and visually appealing overall.
