Description from the seller
Interesting old collection lot of 65 different postal stationery cards / postal cards, including Portugal,
The lot contains various types of postal stationery: single cards, double reply-paid cards, perforated cards, non-perforated cards and illustrated issues. Several cards bear inscriptions such as “Bilhete Postal”, “Union Postale Universelle”, “Portugal e Hespanha” and “Com resposta paga”, indicating domestic and international postal use, including Portugal-Spain reply-paid postal stationery.
Particularly interesting are the intact double reply-paid cards, as well as the illustrated late 19th-century cards. The lot includes different denominations, paper colours and design types. A good and varied group for collectors of postal stationery, classic postal history, old European postal cards and specialised philately.
Condition: mostly unused. Some of the single cards have traces of old album hinges or mounting remains on the reverse side from previous album storage. As far as visible, the double cards do not have these album hinge traces. Normal signs of age and storage are present, such as light toning, small spots, corner and edge wear, possible folds and minor imperfections. Overall, the lot presents well and is visually attractive.
Please examine the photos carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the actual condition, varieties and contents of the lot.
