Botroidal steatite from Pietranera, in the municipality of Rovegno, a historic locality in the Ligurian Apennines known among collectors for classic mineralizations. The specimen displays a well-developed botroidal fabric, with smooth and mamillated surfaces that aesthetically emphasize the colloform habit typical of steatite. The coloration varies in gray-green / light green tones with a slightly waxy luster, characteristic of a talc-rich composition. The compact and harmonious morphology makes the piece particularly interesting.
