Description from the seller

An attractive bust of a women carved from solid hardwood. I am uncertain where it was carved but believe it to be African. The piece has been aged by the elements after being outside for many years. I believe the bust was carved using hand tools, as was the decoration. There is what I believe to be bone triangles in the cheeks, and spaces for where pieces of bone used to be on the forehead and on the breasts.
