Magnificent Art Deco period letter holder and inkstand composed of two heavy globes richly detailed and patinated in cast iron, topped with airplanes, France, 1930s. The airplanes are probably representations of the Boeing 314 Clipper. The whole sits on Portoro marble.

In very good overall condition. Minor wear. No ink-well cups.
