Old sculpture representing Saint Sebastian, Christian martyr depicted tied to a trunk and pierced by arrows.
Wood carved and polychromed, with traces of gilding on the loincloth (perizonium) decorated with engraved motifs.
The figure, rendered with expressiveness, shows an elongated anatomy with very realistic skin tones and a face turned toward the sky, glass eyes inserted.
Base carved to imitate a rocky ground, the whole as a single piece.
